Thanks to all who made this weekend’s Home Tour a great success!!!
The Dilworth Community Association (DCA) is a not-for-profit, all volunteer organization whose mission is to maintain the integrity of the Dilworth neighborhood. The DCA Board is comprised of eighteen members, each of whom serves a three-year term. Each year, six Board members rotate off, and six new Board members are elected to take their place. In addition, five officers are elected to lead the Board. The DCA meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Tom Sykes Recreation Center at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Park Avenue. Meetings are open and all are invited. Attending a meeting is an excellent way to get involved and learn what is happening in both Dilworth and the surrounding neighborhoods, including vibrant South End. Opportunities for participation include serving on one of the DCA committees or otherwise getting involved with one of many ongoing Dilworth groups.

Other entirely separate groups which focus on historic preservation and with which we are often confused include: the Charlotte Historic District Commission, Preserve Historic Dilworth, and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission.
